In both instances, the shroud rubbed the fan blades on the driver's side, closer to the top. I used a dremel and a cut-off wheel to notch the vertical edge, driver's side of the fan shroud, so the entire piece could slide to the right. The interference seems to come from the end tank. It was an obvious solution when I looked at it from the top anyways. I also slotted both top mounting holes, and drilled new small holes through the bottom of the shroud and lower lip of the rad to thread some high strength zip ties' through. Very solid, no problems on either car.
